Dr. Modjoros is a board certified physician who specialized in gynecology and pelvic pain before founding Sexual Health Consultants, a sex therapy practice dedicated to healing sexual dysfunction. In her previous medical practice, Dr. Modjoros noticed that many of her patients with sexual concerns needed more than medicines to get better -- they needed adequate time and safe space to process personal and sexual issues. This led Dr. Modjoros to seek additional training in sex therapy and ultimately she earned her AASECT Certification as a Sexuality Counselor.
Based in Falls Church, VA, she provides therapy to individuals and couples to resolve challenges with:

Redefining sex in the context of changing health or illness (pregnancy, aging, cancer, chronic pain, etc).
Dr. Modjoros advocates for diversity and is kink-friendly. She loves promoting sex positivity and teaching about how the mind and body interact to create the sexual experience. Her mantra is "You deserve a healthy and happy sexuality!”
When not counseling, giving presentations, or writing, Dr. Modjoros enjoys sunshine, time with family, and aerial yoga.
